Academics awarded KTP contract
Thursday, 04th March 2010 - 17:33:00Managing Organisational Knowledge: New Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Project.Dr Chris Reade (Lead Academic) and Dr Walter Skok (Project Supervisor) both of the Department of Informatics and Operations Management have been awarded a two year Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) with KBC Advanced Technologies plc, starting on15 March 2010. The project is valued at £121,729. KBC are a global, independent consultancy to the energy and process industries, with offices in Surrey, Singapore and the USA. The company assists clients in improving operational performance, environmental practices and investment strategies. The project aims to develop a strategy for improving the management of the company’s organisational knowledge by reviewing the current situation and implementing new working practices, processes and systems.
